Strengthening Our Team

Brandon Snow's picture

You can plan the most rigorous investment funds and process in the world, but it requires the right people to bring it all together. That’s why Cambridge considers the hiring process an integral part of our overall investment strategy. Not only does it reflect who we are as a team, but also impacts how we invest and grow your funds. Cambridge is excited to announce our expanded team with the addition of three new hires: Analysts Charles Morison and Oliver Shao, and Director of Investment Communications, Sonia Mahadeo.

Charles and Oliver will contribute to Cambridge’s ongoing success by providing our investment team with a broad range of analytical and research support.

Charles has experience as an investment banking analyst and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Concordia University. When not pouring over research and spreadsheets, Charles is a huge Toronto Raptors fan. The connection isn’t lost on us – success in investing, as in basketball, depends on having a strong, dedicated team with complementary skills working towards that slam dunk.

Oliver has worked as a research analyst at McLean & Partners. He holds a Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies from the University of Western Ontario and is a CPA (IL, U.S.) and CFA charterholder. An avid outdoor adventurist, including ice climbing, Oliver fully appreciates that investment success requires the same fundamental approach to climbing: commitment to a meaningful goal – a belief we all genuinely share.

Sonia, who is an intrepid traveler exploring over 60 countries (so far!) in her spare time, is tasked with helping us develop and execute a client communications strategy to better serve your needs in terms of clear and relevant information about your investments. Her passion for understanding and connecting with people has guided her career, and she joins us with over 12 years of marketing and communications experience in different industries and functional areas. Sonia recently earned an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario).

Charles, Oliver and Sonia will help us to seamlessly continue meeting your investment needs at the same high standards. We look forward to working with you in the many years ahead.
